American tourism marketing agency Brand USA will be advertising internationally for the first time during the Super Bowl. This ad will appear during international broadcasts in Germany and the UK.
During the Brand USA ad, viewers hear the cheers of fans in a packed stadium. “Our 15-second spot taps into the excitement of the Super Bowl and inspires consumers to enjoy more of America, from our great outdoors to our iconic cities,” said Stacey, Chief Marketing Officer of Brand USA. says Melman.
Germany and the United Kingdom are the top travelers to the U.S. In 2023, more than 3.8 million travelers came from the United Kingdom, and 1.9 million came from Germany, according to the National Travel and Tourism Board.
Last year, Brand USA partnered with the NFL in Germany and the UK. This ad is a continuation of that partnership.
“Through our partnership with the NFL, we are able to tap into a new demographic of global travelers who are passionate about America’s favorite sport and get them excited about the rich travel experiences across America. ” Melman said.
The NFL is expanding its presence in Europe. In 2022, the NFL began featuring games in Germany as part of its International Series.
The NFL estimates there are 14.3 million “casual” fans in the UK and Ireland and 18 million “casual” fans in Germany.
More than 56 million people watched the Super Bowl around the world last year, an increase of 7% from the previous year, according to the NFL.
