Many Android smartphone manufacturers create their own software on top of the standard Android operating system to provide users with a unique look and feel and additional features. Chinese company Oppo is no exception and is currently rolling out its updated ColorOS based on the latest Android 14 to users around the world. Gizmochina (via Android headlines), Oppo provided a list of upcoming smartphones android 14 this month. Notably, some devices have already received the update, including the Oppo Find N3 series (including Collector’s Edition and Find N3 Flip). Additionally, his three devices from the “X” series, namely Oppo Find X5 Pro, Find X5, and Find X3 Pro, are also expected to get the update. The remaining smartphones (Reno10 series, Reno8 series, Reno7, Oppo, etc.) F23 5G, Oppo F21 Pro series, and Oppo K10 5G are also expected to receive the update soon. The rest of the list is dedicated to Oppo’s A series smartphones.

The latest update brings several improvements to Oppo smartphones to improve the user experience. Multitasking is now easier with floating window support. You can also shake your phone to change songs, handle notifications, and more. Additionally, you can customize the status bar’s font style to match your style.
Additionally, display transitions, lock screen functionality, and vibration effects have been enhanced to make interactions smoother. You can now adjust the screen refresh rate for individual apps, and the color display has been optimized for better visuals. Additionally, you can edit the photos in your gallery and restore them back to their original state easily.
Please note that updates will be rolled out in stages, so not everyone will have access to them at the same time. It may take some time for it to reach your device.
ColorOS boasts a unique design aesthetic that sets it apart from the standard Android look. Characterized by a vibrant and playful interface, ColorOS is the default operating system for all his Oppo smartphones. Notably, Oppo recently settled his year-long patent dispute with Nokia, paving the way for the global release of upcoming smartphones, including the Find X7 Ultra.
