The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) presidential candidates have said that despite the Electoral Commission releasing the names of candidates who submitted their nomination documents by the deadline of January 12, 2024, the executive branch will not proceed with any further action. They have expressed concern about interference in elections.
Mombasa-born LSK vice-president Faith Odhiambo Mony Aoko is one of five senior lawyers aspiring to become the 51st president of the prestigious Law Society of Kenya.

Machakos-born Caroline Kamende Daudi, who served as immediate former vice president from 2020 to 2022, is returning to the LSK council, this time as chairperson.

Harriet Njoki Mboche and Bernardo Getich Kipkoech completed the list of five candidates who have submitted their nomination documents to the Electoral Commission.

In addition to the hotly contested LSK chairman position, three aspirants are vying for the position of vice president and eight are vying for the position of general member representative.
