ANDROID owners are being urged to check their phone’s ‘hidden number’ which could be the key to extending battery life.
Experts from the Android-based phone company OnePlus have revealed that this trick is best used in emergencies when you really want to save until the last drop.

But few people know about this “hidden numbers” trick.
What is a “hidden number”?
The so-called “hidden numbers” relate to the screen refresh rate of your device.
A mobile phone’s screen refresh rate is the number of times the image on the screen is updated per second.
For example, a 60Hz display updates the screen 60 times per second.
Depending on the type of Android smartphone you have and its age, the screen refresh rate numbers can be between 10 Hz and 240 Hz.

However, most devices are around 60Hz to 90Hz.
