XTPL plans to deliver Delta Printing System (DPS) devices to a new California-based customer in the second quarter of 2024. XTPL technology is used for packaging operations of integrated microelectronic devices. This is the fourth sale of DPS in the US, with previous buyers being, among others, a Nasdaq-listed company, one of his Big 5 companies in the ICT sector. XTPL’s extensive activities in the United States are supported by his Urs Berger, Managing Director for North America. Mr. Urs, who was hired in early 2024, previously held key management positions at Optomec for 16 years. In line with XTPL’s 2023-2026 strategy, in the second half of 2024, the company plans to establish its first sales, demonstration and support center for North American customers in Boston.
“Urs Berger will be responsible for the development and execution of XTPL’s sales strategy in the North American market, and we are pleased to have hired a specialist whose extensive experience is essential to our business. In the second half of the year, we will open a demonstration center in Boston to showcase XTPL’s technology solutions (industrial packaging modules, DPS devices, and high-performance materials). This is part of our ongoing 2023-2026 strategy and is expected to increase tenfold to PLN 100 million by the end of 2026, which is expected to increase sales of products and services,” said Philip Granek, CEO of XTPL.
Urs Berger has over 20 years of international business experience, including 16 years in the additive manufacturing and printed electronics sectors, and has completed hundreds of system sales transactions during his career. Before he joined XTPL, he held key management positions as head of business development at Optomec in the US and Switzerland. He earned his MBA in International Business from the University of San Diego.
