And now there are 8 people. It seems like only yesterday that the 68 teams for women’s March Madness were announced, but with 60 already eliminated, the stakes have never been higher.
Sunday’s Elite Eight game will pit the top two seeds against each other in an afternoon matchup that will be broadcast on ABC. South Carolina, the top overall seed and undefeated, will play No. 3 seed Oregon State, while Texas will play No. 3 North Carolina State for a spot in the Final Four.
The Wolfpack could finish the game in time to face ACC rival Duke in the men’s Elite Eight game, and expect a double celebration.
