According to a new leak, Apple is preparing to release the iPhone 16 Plus in five more colors than the current iPhone 15 Plus.

Following rumors about iPhone 16 Pro colors and how, leaker ‘Fixed focus digital’ claims to know of Apple’s plans for iPhone 16 Plus. A leaker stated on Chinese social media site Weibo that the colors will be as follows:
- black
- blue
- green
- pink
- purple
- White
- yellow
If this is correct, Apple will continue with all five colors of the current iPhone 15 Plus. Later, new white and purple will also be added.
Since the leaker has no further information, it seems likely that the five remaining colors could be created in different shades. At least the iPhone 16 is likely to come in the same color as the iPhone 16 Plus, but the leaker has identified a Plus model.
Apple is expected to announce both the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus in September.
Please note that nothing in the report can be verified and Fixed Focus Digital does not appear to have a track record with Apple leaks. But in recent days, the number of alleged leaks has increased, including a February 2024 claim that Apple had abandoned plans for the iPhone Fold.
Separately, another recent rumor makes dubious claims that the iPhone 16 Plus will have a smaller battery.
