Samsung was one of the first smartphone brands to start beta testing Android 14 on its smartphones, starting with the Galaxy S23 series. Launched in January 2024, the Galaxy S24 family ships with Android 14 out of the box.

Like Google, Samsung also provides several years of support for its flagship phones. That means previous generation flagship phones and flip phones should be safely on the update roadmap for the next few years. However, Samsung has more than just Galaxy S series phones in its repertoire.

These include the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip lineup, as well as more affordable A-series phones. In the One UI 6 announcement post, Samsung revealed which phones will be equipped with his Android 14 and when.

Similar to Google and Samsung’s previous policies, OnePlus phones come with four years of software upgrade support.

OnePlus community posts have focused on when various OnePlus smartphones will get the Android 14 update, and OnePlus is delivering on these promises. OnePlus 11 got its OxygenOS 14 update stable in mid-November, and other devices followed suit with its flagships. This process has been completed and Android 14 has been rolled out to a large number of his OnePlus smartphones.

Android 14 was initially delivered to Nothing Phone 1 and Nothing Phone 2 as part of a closed beta test, but the company was silent on when the update would hit the smartphones.Thankfully it didn’t cost anything Too It’s been a long time since the stable update for Android 14 was released, and Nothing’s flagship update is now complete.

Phones that received Android 14 update have nothing:

  • nothing phone 1
  • blank phone 2

Nothing’s other phone, the Nothing Phone 2a, shipped with Android 14 at launch in March.

Motorola has not released a schedule for Android 14, and most questions on the official Lenovo community forums regarding Android 14 update scenarios received boilerplate answers such as:

“No details yet about Android 14.”

this:

“We have not yet made any announcement regarding the Android 14 update. Even after announcing our plans for which phones will be updated, we are unable to share a timeline for when they will be updated.”

Thankfully, Motorola has since updated the list to state which phones will come with Android 14. However, only a few phones have been updated and most have already rolled out, leaving it far behind its competitors.

Motorola smartphones that received Android 14 update:

  • motorola edge 40 pro
  • Motorola Edge Plus (2023)
  • Motorola Moto X40
  • Motorola Moto G53

Motorola smartphones receiving Android 14 update:

  • Motorola Moto G (2023)
  • Motorola Moto G84
  • Motorola Moto G54
