WhatsApp’s all-new search bar is back

WhatsApp is currently one of the most popular messaging apps in the world, and developers are constantly rolling out new and upcoming features through beta channels.We added a few weeks ago to the app.[チャット]We mentioned one such feature when we added a search bar for tabs, allowing users to search for specific messages in a long list of conversations. The new search bar was added in WhatsApp beta 2.24.7.1, but it is not widely visible to all users yet.But now things are changing and one of the devices[チャット]A prominent search bar is displayed on the tab.

We were able to spot this work-in-progress search bar in the WhatsApp beta of Android version 2.24.6.77, which was first released in early March. This makes it clear that the search bar has been tested across multiple app versions, indicating that it’s here to stay.

A side-by-side comparison with the search bar, which first appeared in version 2.24.7.1 of the WhatsApp beta, shows that the new implementation still needs work. The fact that part of the search bar is absorbed into the dark green header indicates that the search bar is not fully optimized yet.

Meanwhile, my Android phone running WhatsApp beta version v2.24.8.2 still doesn’t have a search bar. Therefore, it is no exaggeration to say that development is slow. But we’ve seen this come up a few times already, so we can definitely say it’s going to be a big part of WhatsApp in the future.

WhatsApp will soon bring your favorite stickers to the front

In another development, Android App Detective assemble debug WhatsApp Beta version 2.24.7.26 includes “move to topbutton as shown above. It is designed to place your favorite or frequently used stickers at the top of the list, saving you the hassle of manually finding them from an exhaustive list. Although this is a relatively minor feature, it is useful for users who: Send stickers regularly to your WhatsApp contacts.
