The exciting drama series The Family Business will return for Season 5, premiering on BET+ on July 4. Written by Carl Weber, the 10-episode season will premiere with three episodes, followed by new episodes every Thursday thereafter, culminating in the finale on August 22, 2024.
Season 5 returns to the civil war between the Duncans and their biggest enemy yet: the son of LC. Vegas, Chippy and the rest of the clan welcome Vegas home, but are devastated when Junior leaves the family. LC does everything she can to protect her bloodline, but her friends become her enemies and she hatches a plan to take over the Table. A burglary turns out to be more than just a passing mugger, leading Rio on a manhunt that will change the fate of the Duncans. Meanwhile, Paris’ ex-lover, Niles Monroe, makes an unexpected return, foreshadowing sweet revenge.

Ernie Hudson reprises his role as LC Duncan, CEO of Duncan Motors and patriarch of the family, in Trey Haley’s The Family Business, starring Valerie Pettiford, Darrin Henson, Javicia Leslie, Shawn Ringgold, Tami Roman, Arrington Foster, Michael Jai White and LisaRaye McCoy.
The series is executive produced by Hudson, Carl Weber, N.D. Brown and Trey Haley, with producers being Jeffrey Dampson, Walter Nixon, Shawn Ringgold, Abe Brown, Greg Anderson and Veronica Nichols.
