Ben Affleck’s love for Dunkin’ is the stuff of legend.
The photo of Affleck leaving the chain store with his hands full of specialty donuts and coffee was an iconic meme that circulated the internet for years. And last year, he capitalized on his fandom by appearing in a Super Bowl commercial as a drive-thru clerk for a national chain with a thick Boston accent.
Affleck returned to appear in a Super Bowl commercial on Sunday, appearing in an ad that won second place in USA TODAY’s 36th annual Admeter competition, which ranks Super Bowl commercials annually. In this year’s ad, Affleck, Matt Damon and Tom Brady form a band called the Dunkings despite being thwarted by rapper Jack Harlow.
Affleck’s wife, Jennifer Lopez, also appears, but seems less than impressed with the trio.
Now, fans of the newly formed band can enjoy the song in its entirety thanks to an extended release cut shared on the Dunkin’ YouTube channel. We’re also looking forward to “Don’t Dunk Away at My Heart” dropping on music streaming platforms on Valentine’s Day.
