The President said that while the government is prioritizing the development of Scheduled Tribes (STs), it is equally important to protect their culture.
She supported the government’s efforts to eradicate sickle cell disease among the tribal population, provide quality education through the Eklavya Model Boarding School, and provide scholarships for higher education to tribal students. I admired him for being there.
Murmu also launched a first-of-its-kind venture capital fund aimed at promoting ST entrepreneurship by providing concessional financing.
He said tribal entrepreneurs would benefit from this scheme and contribute to India’s self-reliance.
Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda accused the previous government of neglecting the welfare of tribal communities and said the Narendra Modi government had shown respect to them.
The festival is expected to be another grand event this year with over 300 stalls showcasing tribal art, handicrafts, natural products and cuisine.
With approximately 1,000 artisans participating, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the talented creators behind these tribal works.
The event will also include a separate food court serving tribal cuisine known for its health benefits.
In the evening, a cultural program featuring performances by tribal artists from across the country entertains visitors, while workshops such as craft workshops and Adi Chitra painting exhibitions provide a first-hand experience of tribal culture. Masu.
