FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — When you think of Valentine’s Day, you may think of giving your loved one flowers or chocolates along with a nice, romantic date. Science Central is ready to break that stereotype by hosting a Valentine’s Day Murder Mystery Party where you can embrace your inner forensic scientist that night.
Event manager Megan Price said the murder mystery event is not new, but they are bringing it back with the help of Sentier Bank.
“We’ll have evidence like blood spatter evidence, DNA, fingerprinting, fiber analysis,” Price said.
Although not required, Price suggested coming with a group of friends and dressing up as your favorite crime scene investigator. From there, you can wander around the museum in search of clues and talk to various suspects. Who is the suspect in question? A group of local actors will bring their talents and skills to bear for the evening.
“I’m very honored to be working with six actors from this region. A familiar face will be playing the suspect,” Price said.
If you solve the riddle correctly the first time, you can choose between a Science Central membership or two tickets to an upcoming Mixology event.
This is an adults-only (21+) event, so please leave your kids at home to attend. Light refreshments are available and there is a cash bar.
Tickets for the event can be found by visiting Science Central’s event ticket sales page. The event is Saturday, February 10th, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
