European cities topped the list of the best places for a relaxing city break.

Reykjavik was followed by Tallinn in Estonia and Bergen in Norway in second and third place respectively.
The study considered factors such as air pollution, light pollution, clutter, and noise pollution.
The amount of green space, time lost due to traffic congestion, and hours of sunlight are also taken into account to calculate the Tranquility Index Score (SIS).
Vienna also made it into the top 10 list.

The survey also revealed the most stressful cities for holidaymakers to travel to.
New York City in the US was found to be the most stressful city vacation, with a low SIS of 47.4.
