In this monthly series, we compare Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One sales in Europe.

Xbox Series X|S launched in November 2020, and Xbox One launched in November 2013. This means the holidays will be aligned for the two consoles.

January 2024 will be the 39th month of Xbox Series X|S availability. In the most recent month, the gap widened in Xbox One’s favor by 53,609 units when compared to the Xbox Series X|S mass launch.

Over the past 12 months, Xbox One has outsold Xbox Series X|S by 530,000 units. The Xbox Series X|S is currently trailing the Xbox One by 0.57 million units.

Xbox Series X|S sold 7.45 million units in 39 months, while Xbox One sold 8.02 million units. Month 38 for Xbox Series X|S is December 2023 and December 2016 for Xbox One.

Xbox One sales in Europe exceeded 10 million units in the 50th month, 12 million units in the 62nd month, and 14 million units in the 76th month. The Xbox One achieved lifetime sales of 14.86 million units in Europe. Xbox Series X|S beats Xbox One’s lifetime sales in Europe by 7.41 million units.
