Temperatures are rising as the Fourth of July holiday weekend approaches, but that’s enough to get people sweating, with Sacramento recording a high of 119 degrees Fahrenheit.
Temperatures are expected to rise in the Sacramento area over the next week, with the latest weather models predicting temperatures in the low 100s Fahrenheit, with a high of 109 Fahrenheit predicted on July 3rd.
But will temperatures really reach 119 degrees next Saturday?
Well, not exactly. This figure is based on a single model and is not synthetic, so it’s an unrealistic number at this point. But that doesn’t mean it won’t be hot next Saturday.
Temperatures are still expected to be above average, with a high of about 110 degrees Fahrenheit, possibly a little cooler.
It’s not like the Sacramento area experiences temperatures over 110 degrees every year — since 1990, there have been 10 years in which downtown Sacramento reached this record temperature.
