A lot has been leaked about the iPhone 16, but that’s to be expected as we inch closer to its eventual launch, and we’ll likely continue to hear more as time goes on, such as today’s rumor that the color of Apple’s next-generation flagship may have been revealed.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expressed his expectations for the colors of the iPhone 16. Kuo claims that the two new colors can replace some of the existing shades.
Specifically, Kuo believes the color options for the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will remain black, green, and pink. However, the pale yellow tint may be removed in favor of white.
The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, on the other hand, are expected to offer black, white (or silver), and gray options. The unlucky color we’re bidding farewell to is the “Blue Titanium” colorway. This option may be replaced by a new “Rose Titanium” color.
The analyst added that Apple could change the names of these colors even if the color tone remains the same. An example Kuo cited was when Apple changed the name of white to “Starlight.” This change occurred when Apple released his iPhone 13.
Based on previous leaks, there could be some notable design changes, including a new “capture button” and a larger Pro model.
