Steve Kerr is building a team for the 2024 Olympics.
Most of the teams competing in the Paris Games will reportedly be announced on Monday, with Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry headlined.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski added that there is one spot open on the 12-man roster, which could be filled later.
The 11 players currently called up are as follows.

The U.S. team is aiming for its fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal. They have won medals in all 19 times they have participated, making them the most powerful team in the event (they withdrew from the 1980 Olympics in Russia).
Sixteen of those medals are gold, one silver (1972) and two bronze (1988, 2004).
Of course, James has the most Olympic experience of any player on the list. The 39-year-old was part of the team that won bronze in 2004 and helped win gold in 2008 and 2012. This will be his fourth Olympic appearance.
In fact, surprisingly, Curry is set to make his Olympic debut. The 36-year-old superstar has never competed in a tournament, so 2024 could be the year he adds more hardware to his already impressive resume.
Durant, 35, may have a chance to make history. He is one of only two male basketball players (tied with Carmelo Anthony) to win three gold medals, so if he wins the fourth in 2024, he will have the most gold medals in Olympic men’s basketball history. He will be the player we acquired. On the women’s side, Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi each won five gold medals.
Elsewhere, Davis won a gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics. Booker, Tatum, Holiday and Adebayo were on the team that recently won gold at the Tokyo Games.
In addition to the aforementioned Curry, Embiid, Edwards, and Haliburton currently have no Olympic medals.
Team USA’s group in Paris includes the winners of the Serbia, South Sudan and Puerto Rico Olympic qualifying tournaments.
