Quest Science Center will take over the Alameda County Fairgrounds on Saturday to host the 6th annual Tri-Valley Innovation Fair.
The free, one-day event aims to bring people together to celebrate innovation, exploration and learning, according to a statement from event organizers.
The Innovation Fair offers a unique hands-on learning experience with both indoor and outdoor activities designed to appeal to attendees of all ages and backgrounds.
The event will feature more than 80 exhibitors sharing their latest research and solutions, and special performances throughout the day, showcasing the work of local innovation leaders impacting the region.
“This year’s Tri-Valley Innovation Fair will be a great full-day program and the perfect way to celebrate technology and innovation,” said Monya Lane, CEO of Quest. “The commitment of exhibitors, sponsors, and community leaders alike ensures that this program provides access to science, learning, and innovation for everyone who wishes to participate in the Innovation Fair,” Lane said. added.
Caleb Chan, Qwest’s chief learning officer, said participants at the Innovation Fair will “participate in activities and meet experts in fields such as biotechnology, healthcare, robotics, advanced manufacturing, computing, transportation, and agriculture. This year’s Tri-Valley Innovation Fair will also introduce the Youth Sustainability Action Expo. This is a new forum that gives students the opportunity to highlight their sustainability action projects and helps foster social awareness that allows other students to take part in actions such as .
