In his address to the new executive, Mabima called for unity and implored party leaders to stop slandering each other.
He said:
As Chairman, I would ask my comrades that we all come together, or at least try to come together.
Looking back, we all claim to be 100% behind Mr. ED Mnangagwa, our current and future president in 2023, and now that we have all clearly expressed our support for Mr. ED Mnangagwa. Our differences are very minor as we claim to support the united Zanu PF party led by Placidium. As the only candidate for General in 2023. election.
Let us put aside our personal differences for now and come together to win the by-election and the 2023 general election.i am your president
