However, a post on his OnePlus community forum in China indicates that this update will also apply to his OnePlus 12.
In particular, the February ColorOS update changelog includes several AI-powered feature additions. When OnePlus announced the OnePlus 12 series last month, AI wasn’t at the forefront of the smartphone’s new features. This was in stark contrast to Google and Samsung’s approach to this generation of smartphones, where features like Circle to Search made headlines.
Just like other Android smartphones, OnePlus devices will also be able to make calls with the latest ColorOS update. This new feature is called AI Call Summarizer, and it listens to calls and summarizes them for reference. This is perfect for situations where you need to write down instructions, addresses, names, phone numbers, etc.
As part of the process, AI Call Summarizer can “extract time, location, action items, and other important information” from conversations, according to the changelog.
OnePlus also offers features like Magic Eraser, now called AIGC Remover. This feature, like similar options available on other phones, uses AI to remove unwanted people and objects from photos.

OnePlus 11 devices receive build PHB110_14.0.0.403(CN01)while the OnePlus 12 smartphones will receive a build PJD110_14.0.0.405(CN01). Both appear to be rolling out to targeted devices now. It’s unclear when these features will arrive on global models.
