As the former Husker star plays back from injury, he reflects on his past season with the Kansas City Royals in 2010
He was the “Can’t Miss Kid,” a home-grown Husker star who was drafted second overall by Kansas City in 2005.
Alex Gordon was preparing to enter his fifth major league season as the Royals’ left fielder in 2010, but he acknowledged that those lofty expectations were now a thing of the past.
