Famous actor Oliver Hudson said he felt “unprotected” from his famous mother, Goldie Hawn, and admitted that it contributed to his childhood trauma.
Hawn and Bill Hudson’s son had no relationship with his father until he was an adult, but it was his mother who he took issue with most. “Interestingly, my mother was the one I was most traumatized by because she was my primary caregiver and I was always with her, so I felt vulnerable at times.” said the 47-year-old star. This was revealed on a recent episode of his podcast, Sibling Revelry.

Hudson acknowledged that Horne is a “wonderful mother” who “lives her own life,” but that her busy work schedule and choices in her personal life have made it difficult for her to live her life with her. He said it was difficult to find a place to stay.
“She would be working. She had a new boyfriend, but I didn’t really like her,” he said.
Then he paused to make his story more clear. “This is my own realization as a child who didn’t have a father and needed him to be there,” he said on the podcast.

“And she wasn’t [there] At times, she came out much more than my father, who wasn’t there. ”
According to the New York Post, Hudson and his famous sister Kate were primarily raised by Hawn after their parents divorced in 1982.

According to the New York Post, Hudson recently took the Hoffman Process Course, a week-long retreat where participants “identify negative behaviors, moods, and mindsets,” to improve their self-esteem. He said he thoroughly delved into the nature and root causes of trauma.
