TL;DR
- Nothing Phone 1 is currently getting stable Android 14 update with Nothing OS 2.5.
- This software will be rolled out in stages and will be available to open beta testers before stable Android 13 users.
Nothing has finally rolled out a stable Android 14 update for its first smartphone, the Nothing Phone 1. This update should move users to Nothing OS 2.5.
Nothing has officially announced the update, but the company says it will roll it out gradually. This means that it won’t be immediately available to all Nothing Phone 1 users.
“This approach allows us to monitor any issues and ensure a smooth and stable deployment,” says Nothing. Users currently using the open beta version of the software will receive the update before it is pushed out to users running a stable Android 13 build on their Phone 1.
