RED OAK, Iowa – Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Ranking Member of the Senate Small Business Committee, today announced Small Business of the Week: Landmark Bistro of Grundy County. Throughout this Congress, Ranking Member Ernst plans to recognize small businesses in all of his 99 counties in Iowa.
“Since 2015, The Landmark Bistro has been a destination featuring delicious local cuisine, a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch service.” said ranking member Ernst. “I’m proud of Jill Klausman and the entire team at The Landmark Bistro for giving our guests a taste of what Grundy Center has to offer.”
Jill Klausman founded The Landmark Bistro in 2015 to create a community gathering space and quality restaurant in Grundy Center. Landmark Bistro offers salads, burgers, and sandwiches for both dine-in and takeout. The restaurant pays homage to the Grundy Center community with its design and decor and gives back by partnering with other businesses and entrepreneurs. Jill was named one of the 40 Women to Watch in the Hospitality Industry by the Iowa Restaurant Association, and her landmark bistro was selected by Iowa to the list of 99 Counties, 99 Restaurants. I got it. The Landmark Bistro is celebrating its 9th anniversary this year.
Stay tuned as Ranking Member Ernst recognizes more Iowa small businesses across the state with this week’s Small Business of the Year Award.
