He attended the annual European Easter Retreat held by the European Military Service Chaplains Association. The WELS European Chaplaincy, as the WELS Military Services Ministry, part of the WELS Special Ministries, has been serving WELS military and civilian personnel across Europe for over 50 years. More recently, new opportunities for missionary work have emerged. In recent years, many members of WELS’ sister churches around the world have immigrated to the UK. In response to this opportunity, WELS World Mission has opened a new mission location in the UK in 2022. Pastor Michael Hartman was called and Pastor Conifer was called.
