Total amount of subsidy exceeded $500,000 Awarded to supporting organizations nationwide US

Irvine, California, February 15, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Mazda Foundation Board of Directors (united states of america) Inc. has funded seven programs this year, renewing the organization’s commitment to addressing food insecurity and its many root causes, particularly equitable access to education and employment opportunities. The total number of awards from the Mazda Foundation is $500,000 to organizations around the world US.

“The awards we are announcing today will bring food security, STEM learning opportunities and job skills to more people than ever before,” he said. Mazda Foundation partnerships continue to serve a growing number of people in several major metropolitan areas around the world. USFunds are concentrated in southern californiathe larger Huntsville, Alabamaarea, and more baltimore, marylandarea.

This year’s awards aim to expand STEM education and workforce opportunities to underserved youth in high school and beyond. Awards include:

  • food security: funding for Second Harvest Food Bank (Irvine, California), marked 19th Supported Second Harvest for one year in a row.
  • education: Funding for comprehensive educational and vocational guidance programs established by College Track LA (Los Angeles); continued funding for FUSE Studio STEM labs in seven schools in southern california, with nine more schools scheduled to open in 2024.Funding for high school students to form robot teams and participate in sponsored competitions Robotics Education Competition Foundation (Huntsville, Alabama); Another year of funding enthusiastic programming at three schools in madison City, Alabama.
  • Human resource development: funded the third year of the culinary training program at. bracken’s kitchen (Garden Grove, California); funding the Full Circle Automotive Technician Training Program for formerly incarcerated individuals; means for change (Halethorpe, Maryland).
