Warner Brothers Discovery (NASDAQ:WBD) is launching its Max streaming service in Europe starting May 21, coinciding with the Paris Olympics and a new season of one of its high-profile TV series.
Max arrives in Scandinavia first The company says it will launch on Iberia, Central and Eastern Europe that day, and “immediately thereafter” in Poland, the Netherlands, France and Belgium.
France and Belgium are the first new countries in which WBD has launched its streaming service in more than two years.
The news comes after the improved Max was unveiled in the United States in May 2023 and expanded to Latin America and the Caribbean earlier this year. After the new launch, Max will be available in his 25 countries in Europe and 65 countries and territories worldwide.
