After showing Wendy her new diamond ring, Caryn reveals that she and Matt plan to marry in an intimate ceremony in Arizona. In a conversation for the cameras, Caryn confessed that she was “surprised that we were engaged,” but that she hadn’t really thought about what the wedding would be like.

“We were talking about it here and there,” she said of their engagement. “But if I said, ‘Okay, let’s do this,’ Matt would rush to court tomorrow, and he might! He’s self-motivated, so you never know. .”
She went on to tell Wendy that she never expected to get married a second time. Caryn said that while she was initially hesitant due to “fear”, “timing” and not having a place to call home, her views on marriage changed after she and Matt started building a home on the farm. “It’s changed,” she admitted.
Caryn wasn’t the only one who was “surprised” to learn of the engagement. She said her daughter Brittany from her first marriage also had feelings they were able to talk about with each other. “I’m kind of a do-it-all kind of person, so when I was dating Matt, I was sharing everything with my family and my kids, and I probably got too close to them,” she said. In the personal life of his children, he explained before sharing how he learned to be careful.
“Family fusion, that’s a big deal,” Caryn told the camera. “It works out for some people, and for others it doesn’t work out. In my case, I learned that boundaries are healthy in my second relationship. Although I have no regrets about my previous relationships or my intimacy with my children. , I learned a valuable lesson. Although their relationship has been turbulent, Caryn added that she believes “overall everyone is happy with us.”
