Marion Women’s Business Council Announces ATHENA Award Nominees

The Women’s Business Council (WBC) of Marion has 11 nominees for the 2024 ATHENA Leadership Award.

WBC presents the ATHENA Award to individuals recognized for professional excellence, creativity, initiative, community service, and active support of women in reaching their full leadership potential. Candidates for ATHENA are solicited from community members.

The 2024 ATHENA Awards will be presented at the 27th ATHENA Awards Gala on Tuesday at the Marion Palace Pavilion. Traci Costa, President and CEO of ATHENA International, will deliver the keynote address.

“Marion is a better place because of these 11 extraordinary women,” said WBC President Angela Calbetta. She added: “On behalf of the WBC membership and Board of Directors, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to each and every one of them.”

New members are welcome.
