The Fish and Wildlife Institute once again welcomes the public to MarineQuest, an annual open house celebrating Florida’s diverse wildlife, ecosystems, and the cutting-edge research led by Institute scientists across the state. We are proud to announce that we are welcoming everyone to . Now in its 29th year, Marine Quest offers thousands of visitors a unique opportunity to explore Florida’s fish and wildlife.
From touch tanks featuring live marine life to interactive activities for kids, Marine Quest promises a day full of excitement and learning. Attendees can interact with Florida’s top researchers and take a deep dive into the world of sharks, rays, manatees, birds, corals, red tide, and more. Live demonstrations and educational exhibits will showcase FWRI’s commitment to protecting, conserving, and managing Florida’s precious fish and wildlife resources.
Marine Quest will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, February 10th and will be held at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s (FWC) Fish and Wildlife Laboratory in downtown St. Petersburg on 100-8.th Avenue Southeast. Marine Quest is held in conjunction with the St. Petersburg Science Festival.
