Airline company PLAY is hoping travelers will take advantage of what’s being billed as a leap-year ticket: $129 to six European cities and $99 to Iceland.
European destinations include Paris, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, and Dublin.
Flash Deal flights will depart from Dulles International Airport, Baltimore-Washington International Airport, or Boston or New York Airport. PLAY began flying from Dulles in April 2023.
“What makes 2024 the best year for tourists is the extra day,” said Virgil Jonsson, CEO of PLAY. “Leap Day only happens once every four years. We encourage travelers to take advantage of this opportunity and plan a leap trip later this year.”
The Icelandic low-cost carrier says reservations for one-way tickets for April and May of this year, or from September to December, will be accepted by 11:59pm on March 1st.
PLAY also said the stay option allows you to visit two destinations for a low airfare. It said travelers taking connecting flights through Iceland can choose to spend up to 10 days in the country without making a traditional connection.
“This agreement and the extended stay option in Iceland will allow passengers to get the most out of their travel experience, whether it’s a short trip across the pond or a longer holiday in Iceland or Europe,” said Jonsson. Ta.
Of course, like most flights, there are some restrictions. This is a first-come, first-served option. There are days when you have to pay baggage fees and can’t get on the plane.
