If you visit Google Play Store, you will find many office suites available for Android. Unfortunately, some of these apps are no longer available (due to competition or lack of funding), or some have been found to be malicious.
In the meantime, I’ve tested many of these office suites and found the following: Google or Microsoft 365 (office) App — Three options are always on top of the heap. Today, most of the apps that were running are gone, leaving only the most powerful (and funded) apps left.

It’s probably safe to say that most readers have never heard of these three apps. why? That’s because Google and Microsoft maintain market power. Additionally, most Android devices already include the necessary tools.
But where do you turn when these tools aren’t enough?
Let me help you answer that question.
1.WPS Office
I’ve used it before WPS office It’s not just Android. For a while, WPS Office was my default office suite on Linux. So we know that WPS Office is not only trusted but also one of the best alternatives to Google and MS Office. WPS Office offers the best Microsoft document compatibility on the market, plus a user-friendly UI and all the features you need for a full-fledged office suite on your Android device.
WPS Office lets you create and edit Word documents, spreadsheets, presentations, cloud storage, online editing, templates, file sharing, PDF editing, file encryption, document merging, file compression, and more.

Aside from document compatibility, what keeps me coming back to WPS Office is the interface. While the desktop version takes a more traditional approach, the mobile version is modernly adapted and makes it easy to create and edit documents with a tap. Cloud storage options allow you to access all your saved documents from any device that has WPS Office installed.
WPS Office is free to install and use on Android devices.
2. Polaris Office
polaris office is similar to WPS Office (although I think WPS Office has a better UI). You can create/edit MS Word documents, spreadsheets, presentations, as well as create flat text documents. HWPX files (a proprietary Hangul word processor document format published by Korea-based Haansoft Corp.) are also supported.
Other features include activity tracking, filters and full-text search, file conversion/sharing, offline access, and cloud storage. As for the UI, tapping the + button at the bottom center will bring up a dial that allows you to create supported document types.[ドキュメントを開く]Tap to access all the documents you’ve saved to your device storage, Polaris Drive, or any other cloud storage you’ve added, such as Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, OneDrive, or WebDAV.

The biggest difference between WPS Office and Polaris Office is that the free version of Polaris Office can feel inundated with ads. There are four versions available for purchase (to remove ads from the app).
- Smart (Edit and store up to 2 GB per month, sync files on up to 9 devices, export to PDF – $1.99 per month)
- Pro (unlimited storage, sync files on up to 15 devices, edit PDFs – $2.49/month)
- AI (Add 3,000 AI credits per month – $3.99)
- AI-Plus (Unlimited AI Credits – $6.49 per month)
You can also remove ads from your devices for a one-time fee of $9.49.
3.Office Suite Pro
office suite pro It’s probably the most professional of the three, as its name suggests, and that’s reflected in its pricing. (More on that later.) This office suite includes creation/editing of all the document types you need (Documents, Sheets, Slides, PDF) and offers 50 GB of cloud storage .
OfficeSuite Pro’s UI is very nice. I wouldn’t put it above WPS Office. Simply because it’s not that clean.
As far as features go, a full suite of apps, PDF export, conversion, annotation, convert to ePub, up to 5GB of free MobiDrive storage, customized fonts, push notifications, dictionary lookup, proofing options (first two capitalization correction , capitalizing the first letter of sentences, hyperlink detection, smart quotes, automatic lists, etc.).

One caveat when using OfficeSuite Pro is that there is no free option with editing capabilities. You can start a 15-day free trial, but you’ll need to add a credit card number. If you do not wish to proceed, please remember to cancel your subscription. When it comes to pricing, a personal license costs $39.99 per user per year. A family license is $59.99 per year for 6 users. Home & Business licenses are $99.99 per user per year.
Out of these three, my choice is WPS Office. Not only is the UI great, but the free version makes perfect sense as an Android office suite.
