Two rumors about the iPhone 16 Pro surfaced overnight, giving a preview of what’s to come this fall. The first is a new look at what appears to be the iPhone 16 Pro color lineup.
iPhone 16 Pro colors
According to a Weibo post (via ShrimpApplePro on X), Apple may be planning to discontinue blue titanium and add rose titanium on the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Apple has transitioned its Pro line from polished stainless steel to matte titanium with the iPhone 15 Pro series. The current lineup consists of black, white, natural, and dark blue.
This lineup is also notable for not including a gold finish for the first time since 2018’s iPhone XS. Rose seems to be a titanium version of gold.

The black and white titanium versions have also been tweaked based on the description.
The black version of the iPhone 16 Pro is described as space black, just like the iPhone 14 Pro. Apple previously sold the Space Black Titanium Apple Watch Edition. Apple is also reportedly considering a black titanium version of the Apple Watch Ultra.
The white titanium iPhone 16 Pro could also return to the iPhone 14 Pro version in the same color. White iPhone Pro models typically use an off-white shade for the back glass, but the silver iPhone 14 Pro used bright white glass. It may return with the iPhone 16 Pro this fall.
Also, according to the color claims, natural titanium can be updated to different gray shades. iPhone 15 Pro rumors briefly mentioned Titan Gray, which has become known as Natural.
The respective color changes first made headlines last month, as seen in the iPhone mockup above. Sourcing was based on descriptions rather than color samples. The latest source also relates to the exact Deep Purple iPhone 14 Pro leak.
Apple typically releases new iPhones in September.
capture button case
Separately, an early case leak has surfaced showing the rumored capture button notch.
This new button will be added to the bottom right corner of iPhone 16 Pro, giving users quick access to camera features in an easier-to-reach area than the action button.
Once shipped, the capture button could potentially reassign the action button to another task for users who have assigned camera functions to programmable buttons.
Apple similarly has a dedicated hardware button for capturing spatial videos and photos with Apple Vision Pro.
