Here’s one of the best looks in the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro lineup. A new image posted on social media today showcases the entire iPhone 16 family in the form of a dummy unit. This clearly shows the new capture button, redesigned camera bump on iPhone 16 models, and more.
These iPhone 16 dummy unit images were shared on social media by Sonny Dickson. We have summarized some of the changes that you can see thanks to these images.
- Action button on all four iPhone 16 models. Currently available only for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
- The new capture button is located on the right side of the phone, in the same location as the millimeter wave 5G antenna in the US currently. The Capture button features a mechanical design, but with a capacitive surface that supports gestures for zooming in and out.
- iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are slightly larger than iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to have a 6.1-inch to 6.3-inch display, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to have a 6.7-inch to 6.9-inch display.
- Vertical camera bumps on iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. This could potentially allow standard iPhone 16 models to record Vision Pro spatial video.
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro lineup will be announced in September. Expect more rumors to surface by then. What do you think about the rumored changes so far? Are you planning to upgrade to iPhone 16 this year? Let us know in the comments section.
