Even with all the options available, choosing which color to go with your iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Pro shouldn’t be difficult. We’ve put together a list of all the rumored options in one place to help you choose what your next iPhone will look like.
If you’ve been following the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max rumors, you’ll know that there are quite a few to choose from. Rumor has it that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will come in seven color options, while the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will come in four different options.
Note that if you don’t see these colors, you can still purchase a case in a color or design that you find more appealing. However, if the iPhone 15 series is anything to go by, it probably doesn’t make sense to wait to see if there will be a mid-term color release, as Apple doesn’t seem to be planning to release new colors in the spring as it has in the past. right. On iPhone14.
But for now, here’s everything we know about the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro color options.
iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus
As mentioned earlier, the iPhone 16 comes in seven colors overall, five of which are the same as the iPhone 15. The colors black, pink, blue, yellow, and green are all similar to the previous generation, but rumors suggest it will be the same as the iPhone 15. The new colors will be white and purple.
If the color is the same as the previous model, it is expected to be a fairly bright color. For example, green is more like a “mint” green, and blue is more like sky blue. Unfortunately, we don’t know what the two new colors are, but since purple is so bright, it’s possible they’ll follow a similar trend. The white option may also appear more silvery than white.
One final note: Purple and white options are only rumored for the iPhone 16 Plus so far. However, base iPhone models and iPhone Plus models typically share color options, so the option is unlikely to be locked to the Plus model this time around.
iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max colors
So far, four colors have been rumored for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, three of which are black, white, and gray. However, there is currently debate about the fourth color, which could be either a mix of cement gray and desert yellow, or a mix of gray and rose instead.
Space Black is reported to be very similar to the iPhone 14 Pro Max’s Space Black, while the white color is reminiscent of the silver option seen on the iPhone 14 Pro. We don’t know what the gray color will look like, but it could be close to the natural titanium color of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Unfortunately, there are no signs that the blue titanium color will return.
There are also rumors that the iPhone 16 Pro will eliminate the brushed titanium style that was present on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Instead, Apple may go with a smoother, glossier finish. This means the iPhone 16 Pro device now looks similar to the stainless steel of the past, while maintaining the durability of titanium. However, this rumor is currently unfounded, so please take it with a grain of salt.
iPhone 16 colors: Comparison with Apple’s recent colors
Now that you have a good idea of the color options, you can add them to the table of recent iPhone color options for comparison with iPhone 12 and newer phones.
Row 0 – Cell 0 | standard model | professional model |
iPhone16 | black, blue, pink, yellow, green, white, purple | Rose/Desert Yellow, Gray, Space Black, White |
iPhone15 | black, blue, pink, green, yellow | Black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, natural titanium |
iPhone14 | midnight, starlight, blue, purple, [Product] red | Space black, gold, silver, deep purple |
iPhone13 | midnight, starlight, blue, pink, [Product] red | graphite, gold, silver, sierra blue |
iPhone12 | black, white, purple, green, yellow, [Product] red | Space gray, gold, silver, midnight green |
Note that the table above does not include iPhones added later, such as the yellow iPhone 14.
The biggest difference is the sheer amount of options available on the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. The next-generation iPhone has seven options, while most other models have about five. Apple seems to be continuing its trend of simpler names than older models. While having more color options is certainly a benefit for consumers, there’s always a chance that some choices may be discontinued before launch.
For now, all we can do is wait for the official announcement from Apple, but in the meantime, stay tuned to our iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro hub, which will be updated with news and rumors until the final release .
