iPhone 15 Pro satisfaction continues to decline as customers spend more time with the iPhone 15 lineup. Of all the new models, owners of the 6.1-inch Pro model are the most dissatisfied with their purchase.
The data was revealed by perfect trek, and this is a follow-up to another study published last October. Since then, the model’s cumulative satisfaction rating has dropped from 73.5% to 66%, making it the worst of the iPhone 15 models and the worst rating ever for an iPhone Pro.
That said, the main issue last October was overheating, but Apple seems to have addressed it, as negative reviews on this issue dropped from 14.5% in October to 1% in January.
Unfortunately, iPhone 15 Pro customers are finding the phone flat due to poor battery life, small incremental upgrades from the iPhone 14 Pro and older models, and the physical design, including a protrusion on the camera lens. I keep complaining about it being difficult to put down.
Customer satisfaction ratings for the current iPhone 15 lineup as of January 2024 are as follows:
- iPhone15: 78.1%
- 15 plus: 73.5%
- 15 Pro: 66.1%
- 15 Pro Max: 72.5%
The survey also mentions: BGR Apple Support and Reddit forums are reporting an increase in complaints about sharp edges and other issues with the iPhone 15 Pro.
Unlike other reports, PerfectTrec analyzes different customer cycles. For example, bad reviews for the iPhone 15 Pro in September may be from users who upgrade more frequently than those who left reviews in January.
While the first group complained about overheating, current customers talk about camera protrusion, indicating infrequent upgrades.
This method uses Google reviewers such as Best Buy, Verizon, and AT&T for each iPhone model. Overall satisfaction is expressed as the percentage of reviewers who gave the product their 5 stars. These are generally the best-selling options and have the most reviews, so the ratings are for the smallest storage configuration available for each model.
