I haven’t started revenge politics yet.Revanth says he will clear up any personal rivalry with KCR

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy says the politics of revenge has not yet begun, adding that the ongoing investigation into the Kaleshwaram debacle and phone tapping issue is a matter of revenge against former CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao. If there is, he said, that is their problem.

Asked if he was feeling revenge for sending Rao to jail during his Telugu Desam Party days, he said with a smile, “Actually, I haven’t started taking revenge yet.” (TDP).

Reddy, who participated in a talk show on a private television channel, answered various questions, including calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi “.”bardeby” (brother), impact of Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) MLC K Kavitha’s arrest in Delhi liquor policy case, Ram Mandir politics, Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest and Gautam Adani’s investments in Telangana.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) released a memo on how Reddy promoted the positive politics pursued by the state and the Congress based on his participation in talk shows.

To BRS’s repeated claims that the lion (KCR) would come out roaring, he retorted that he was waiting with a “gun to shoot the lion”.

“I only target lions, not cats,” he said, reflecting on his long-standing rivalry with Mr. KCR.

He ruled out any sympathy for BRS after Kavitha’s arrest, saying no one even discussed BRS in Telangana. “If he had been arrested by the BJP during KCR’s assembly elections, he would have had little sympathy for him. But Kavitha’s arrest is not an issue in Telangana at all,” he said. He claimed that he had been arrested on corruption charges in Delhi instead.

In his trademark style, Mr. Reddy defended the reference to Mr. Modi by saying, “.bardeby‘. “Yes, Mr. Modi is the prime minister. bardeby of all states. So I asked him to show his generosity by providing more funds not only to Gujarat but also to Telangana. ” You have to be mature to understand the PM-PM meeting, he said while criticizing his critics.

Reddy said he is not willing to take on institutions like the central government, governor and chief minister, but the ideological battle with the Bharatiya Janata Party will continue. He said Rahul Gandhi was doing the same. His target is divisive politics, not the Prime Minister himself.

In his characteristically satirical style, Reddy mocked the Bharatiya Janata Party, saying if it wanted to win 400 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, it should also contest elections in other countries. He predicted that the BJP would end up with around 240 seats as it has little support from South India. He said the BJP was not in a position to win more than 20 of the 129 seats in the south. Mr. KCR also claimed more than 100 seats, but in the end, he won only 39 seats.

PM Modi ignored Lord Rama

Asked whether Mr. Gandhi was sending the wrong signal by continuing to target Mr. Modi over the politics of Ram Mandir, Mr. Reddy said that he was the first to grant puja to the Ram Mandir idol. He countered that it was the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi who did this. He asked why Rahul Gandhi, a Shiv Bakhs, was targeted on religious grounds. He criticized Mr. Modi for not visiting the famous Bhadrachalam Ram temple. “We visit temples as Ram Baks. Why did Mr. Modi skip it?”

Referring to recent surveys, he said ‘Ram Mandir’ politics is not very attractive to the Bharatiya Janata Party. The main issues that emerged in the survey were unemployment and inflation, not religion or sentiment.

On criticism that Adani is welcoming investment, Telangana said it is welcoming investment, not plunder. “We will ensure that Mr. Adani will invest in Telangana and create jobs. Let him invest all the profits he earns elsewhere with the support of the BJP government.”

The South has the top leaders who lead India.

Reddy said South India has experienced leaders such as Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, KC Venugopal and Rahul Gandhi, who represents the South Indian state in Parliament. “All of them have the qualifications to lead the country as prime minister.”
