How to Find Wi-Fi Passwords Stored on Your iPhone

No one would blame you if you forgot your Wi-Fi password. It’s usually the “set it and forget it” kind, and if you chose a secure password, it’s probably not easy to remember. Apple makes this easy for iPhone users.

When another iPhone tries to connect to your Wi-Fi network, iOS makes it easy to share the password to connect. It’s quick, seamless, and doesn’t even require you to type in the password. This is limited to Apple devices, so if you’re using an Android phone or trying to connect another device to your network, you’ll need to find the password, which can be a task in itself.

Luckily, even if you have to manually enter the password to connect a non-iOS device, it’s easy to find on your iPhone. We’ll explain in more detail below.

This first method allows you to view the password for any Wi-Fi network that you’re currently connected to, or have connected to in the past, and that’s close enough to the router that the network appears in the settings.

This only works for Wi-Fi networks that you’re currently connected to or nearby, but there is a way to find the passwords for all other Wi-Fi networks that you’ve connected to in the past.

How to Find Saved Wi-Fi Passwords

To view all Wi-Fi passwords stored on your iPhone, setting > Wifi and Tap edit Click the button on the top right. A list of all known or previously connected Wi-Fi networks will appear, sorted alphabetically and numerically.

To view the password, Information Icon And hit password.
