For too long, Android users have been excluded from Apple’s prolific apps and services, like iMessage and FaceTime.
Texting from an Android device to an iPhone will remain green for the foreseeable future, but Apple is being a little more generous about sharing its video calling platform.
While Android users still can’t start FaceTime calls or download the dedicated app, Apple users can now send an invite link to join a video call on Android, similar to a one-way Zoom link. You can now send it to your friends.

I’ll explain how to do that in detail.
How to set up and receive FaceTime calls
FaceTime calls must first be initiated by an Apple user.
The minimum supported device requirements are:
As sender/host: Go to the FaceTime app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac and click[リンクの作成]Select an option. You will then be provided with a unique link to distribute to your contacts, regardless of their phone brand. You can also name your link to give it a more formal or personal feel.
As recipient: When an Apple partner sends you a FaceTime invitation, click the link from your Messages app and a new window will open in your internet browser. Next, allow your browser to access your camera and microphone if you haven’t already. Once the link loads, you will be asked to enter your name before joining the call. When the settings are complete, tap “Continue”.

As sender/host: When you send a link, Apple automatically sends a message to the recipient inviting them to FaceTime. When a guest clicks on the invitation, they will be asked to accept or decline the request to join by clicking the checkmark or her X. Please check the app frequently to avoid leaving guests unattended.

As recipient: Android users, it’s your turn. All you need to join FaceTime is a calling link and a stable Wi-Fi or internet connection. To participate, click the link and then click the green[参加]Just click the button. If everything goes well, you will see your face in a small box in the bottom right corner. If the call host hasn’t joined yet, the surrounding screen will remain black and a “Waiting for other participants” notification will appear at the top.

As sender/host: From here, you can freely use FaceTime on your iPhone as usual. Add Memoji stickers and filters, take screenshots within the app, and chat any way you like. However, functionality is more limited for Android users. More on that later. When the call is over, hang up as normal.

As recipient: In traditional Apple fashion, you can’t use the full FaceTime experience from your Android device. Unlike Apple users, you can’t apply Memoji stickers or filters to add a little more color and pop to your calls. You also can’t capture images using the FaceTime screenshot button like you can on the iPhone. However, you can take screenshots manually. Also, unlike Apple devices, other users won’t be notified that you took the photo. Use that information wisely.
