Jack Krawczyk, previously product lead for Gemini at Google Confirmed The Google Assistant alternative will soon expand to Asia Pacific, Latin America, Africa, and the rest of North America.
Now, the folks at Android Police are already getting the Gemini app in parts of Asia and Europe, even though Europe wasn’t mentioned initially.
Rumors were circulating that Google was waiting for the EU to pass a new AI law. The new AI law is the first ever rulebook that sets out a set of rules for the creation, sale and use of artificial intelligence across the European Union. The law will force AI models to produce more detailed documentation, comply with EU copyright rules, and divulge more information about their training data.
