Google has released a new set of features for Android to improve the overall experience for Android users. As Google announced in a blog post, Android Auto can now automatically summarize long texts and busy group chats while you’re driving with the help of AI. It also suggests related replies and actions, such as sending a message, sharing your estimated time of arrival, or starting a call.

Next, Google Docs Markup lets you add handwritten annotations to your documents using your finger or stylus from your Android phone or tablet. Google says it offers a variety of markup tools. Android’s Output Switcher Cast Control now supports Spotify in addition to YouTube Music, making it easy to switch between devices, including your phone’s speakers, headphones, smart speakers, and TV.

Your smartwatch will display your departure time and provide you with a compass-guided navigation route to your destination.
Finally, as part of these nine new features, starting this week in beta in English, you’ll be able to access Gemini directly from Google Messages on your Android phone. Chat with Gemini to draft messages, brainstorm ideas, plan events, and have fun conversations without leaving your Messages app.
