Expand your adult senses at Nightlab at Frost Science in Miami. This is an adults-only after-hours experience held on Thursday nights. So let’s nerd out and have a drink.
Now, imagine a museum without kids running around.
Frost Museum Director Alec Warren: “Here’s the key to the night: 21 and over. Adults only. No children.”
Downtown Miami really comes alive at night. But what if you’re a mad scientist at heart?
Okay, let’s not bring Frankenstein’s monster back to life.
However, you can still be interested in Frost Science in Miami or check out nightLAB.
Alec Warren: “This is the first time we’ve done anything along those lines, where you can drink and eat food in a museum without other kids around. , we are Miami’s science museum, and that means we want to serve everyone, including adults who don’t have children or who want to get away from their kids for a night.”
This quarterly event has a different theme each time.
Alec Warren: “April 4th will be all about the ocean. There will be space-themed events later this year, and there will also be spooky science for Halloween.”
Big kids will enjoy adult beverages while watching the show.
Elizabeth Ho Sinloi: “Yes, drinks definitely help. It makes for a more fulfilling experience.
What you get with your ticket…
Alec Warren: “Tickets start at $34.95 for adults. That’s general admission. This allows you to not only experience the planetarium, but full access to the entire museum and all the experiences. Once inside, the food… and a drink cart. We also have a DJ in the Ocean Gallery.”
Now, if you don’t just want to look up, there are fun options as well.
Alec Warren: “Even if you don’t necessarily want to come see the amazing, unique planetarium show, you can just hang out under the oculus. Or take a look at the amazing exhibits.”
Keron Lettman: “All the fun in the museum, no kids and no alcohol.”
Taylor Smith: “Yes, so far so good. We took Brightline down to avoid the traffic and have been enjoying everything so far.”
