Few technologies or capabilities pose as great a challenge to national defense as the development of hypersonic missiles and countermeasures. Programs such as the Air Force’s Hypersonic Attack Cruise Missile and Air-Launched Prompt Weapon, and DARPA’s GlideBreaker, address both sides of the hypersonic threat scenario.

This Breaking Defense webinar brings together senior military leaders and other technical experts to discuss the status of hypersonic programs currently in development and the engineering challenges they are solving in design, testing, and development, how hypersonic technology will accelerate defense innovation, and how the Department of Defense is building a layered defense architecture from space-based sensors to ground-based kill mechanisms.
