Former ESPN vice president becomes head of IIT-M’s Sports Science and Analytics Center of Excellence

Former ESPN vice president Ramesh Kumar will become director of the Center of Excellence in Sports Science and Analysis (CESSA) at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

Kumar, who was also Head of ESPN (India and South Asia) and Global Head of ESPNcricinfo, is a 1992 B Tech (Mechanical Engineering) graduate and will become Chief Executive Officer of CESSA.
