Forbes magazine named one Croatian island on its list of “4 European Islands to Visit This Year.”
In his foreword, Forbes notes that when it comes to choosing a European island destination, the options are almost endless, with more than 2,000 highly populated islands dotting the continent’s coastline. I think so, he said.
Popular destinations such as Santorini, Sardinia, Ibiza and Mykonos often get the spotlight, but they say it also highlights other gems waiting to be explored in 2024.
Their list of four European islands they recommend readers visit this year includes Hvar, Croatia;
“Chic Hvar in the Adriatic Sea has been ranked 9th in Europe’s Best Islands in the CNTraveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2023, and it’s easy to see why. With restaurants and nightlife, and a spa and wellness center for those looking to rejuvenate, quieter types can head into the interior of this small island for $11,000 to explore rustic vineyards and lavender fields ) writes Forbes.

A popular magazine also states that the best time to visit Hvar is from May to June or from September to October, when the weather is warm and sunny, but less crowded than the peak summer months of July and August. Stated.
Joining Hvar on Forbes’ list are the Outer Hebrides, also known as the Western Isles, which lie off the rugged coast of mainland Scotland and are comprised of more than 200 islands spanning 130 miles. With its intense volcanic activity, Stromboli and Heimaey, a picturesque island off the coast of Iceland, offer unique and memorable experiences for adventurous travelers.
