MUMBAI: Rushmika Mandanna is a popular actress who has worked primarily in Kannada films and has recently made a splash in Bollywood and other South Indian film industries. Interestingly, her busy schedule rarely gives in to her being an avid reader.
Mandana recently took to social media to reveal that she is reading her seventh book, while Rashmika took to Instagram to share a glimpse of best-selling author Anna Huang’s book, ‘King of Wrath.’
“Once you start, there’s no going back. I am currently working on my seventh book, which I am very excited about,” Rashmika said. On the work front, Rashmika will next be seen in “Pushpa: The Rule”, starring Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar. Recently, the second track from the film, “Sooseki”, was announced.
The song has been shot with Allu Arjun and Rashmika.The song has been composed by National Award winning music director Devi Sri Prasad and Shreya Ghoshal has contributed her vocal talents.
Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is directed by Sukumar and also stars Fahadh Faasil, and is slated to hit theatres on August 15.
She will next be seen in director Rahul Ravindran’s Girlfriend, who on March 30 revealed that Rashmika will be dubbing for the first time in five languages, including Malayalam, in the film’s teaser. The film is touted to be a one-of-a-kind love story. The male lead is yet to be announced.
Rashmika will be seen working alongside Vicky Kaushal for the first time in Lakshman Utekar’s historical drama ‘Chhava’, which is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
