Interested in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising? Do you have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription? You’re in luck, because 505 Games’ chaotic Metroidvania has been announced as Europe’s next free game trial.
The trial starts today on the Switch eShop (April 12), you can play as much as you like for free. April 18th. As before, this is only available to users with a valid Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
Now, we’d be lying if we said Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising received a strong recommendation from us for its 2022 release. I noticed that the game had a bit of sweetness, but it was buried under so many boring quests. The whole experience was slightly more painful than we expected.
However, it’s a chance to try it out for free, so if you’re even slightly interested, it might be worth a try.
Rising serves as a prequel to the upcoming Hero Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. My actual experience with this game makes it a much more fulfilling RPG. Hundred Heroes coming to Switch on April 23rdSo for those who want to be fully caught up by then, the free trial couldn’t come at a better time.
