ARNOLD AIR FORCE BASE, Tenn. – Arnold Engineering Development Complex level winners of the 2023 Air Force Materiel Command Science, Engineering, and Technology Management Awards have been selected.
Award nomination packages will be judged based on three factors: operational impact, innovative improvements, and customer focus.
The AEDC level winners and award categories are as follows:
• Junior Military Scientist/Technician: 1st Lt. Camden Dammeyer, 716th Test Squadron.
• Mid-Level Military Scientist/Technician: Maj. Gabriel Llanos, 704th Test Group Detachment.
• Junior Civilian Scientist/Engineer: Jarrett Starbuck, Hypersonic Systems Test Division
• Mid-career Civilian Scientist/Engineer: Scott Williams, 718th Test Squadron
• Senior Civilian Scientist/Engineer: Patrick O’Connell, 704th Test Group OL-AC
• Technical Management: Adam Uribe, 586th Flight Test Squadron 1st Detachment
• Technical Management Team Award: Hypersonic System Test Category
The team includes Kirk Butler, Marcus Conner, Michael Lasaglia, Lt. Col. James Gresham, Jonathan Katzman, Jordan Conner, Michael Garceau, Daniel Ogg, Maj. Justin Ong, Andrew Miller, Brian Allen, Consists of Jared Allen and Michael McGee.
• Engineering Technician: Jonathan Young, 704 Exam Group OL-AC
• Career: Brian Bower, 746th Test Squadron
• Reserve/Individual Mobilization Augmentation Target: Lt. Col. Jamie Schmodis, 804th Test Group.
• Support: Amanda Schultz, Financial Analysis OL
• Outstanding Scientist Team Award: OL-AC Landing Gear Test Facility
The team consists of Brian Barlow, Mitchell Saunders, Austin Abraham and Neo Sim.
• General James Ferguson Engineering Award: Priya Patel, 718th Test Squadron
• General Bernard P. Randolph Technical Team Award: 746th Test Squadron and 586th Flight Test Squadron 1st Detachment.
The team includes Lt. Ryan Elmiger, Nicole Ramirez, Jesus Nunez, Raymond Johnson, Adriana Aquino, Alberto Rivera, German Montez, Donald Morales, Micah Myers, James Jorgenson, Timothy Espinoza, and Cheryl.・The show consists of Rebecca Barrera.
• General Lester L. Lyles Award: Kristin Nivins, 716th Test Squadron
• Col. Roland R. Obenlund Memorial Engineering Award: Col. Nathaniel Luckett, 586th Flight Test Squadron.
Winners at the AEDC level will compete for Air Force Test Center level science, engineering and technology management awards.
