MASON, Ohio – Practical bedding supplier Downlite has signed on as a licensee for lifestyle brands across more than 35 categories in more than 65 countries.
Under a new licensing agreement with Nautica, Downlight will produce practical bedding for the North American market.
“Nautica is a well-known brand with a global reach in apparel and home goods and a highly diverse consumer base,” Downlight CEO Joe Crawford said.
The company specializes in processing down and feathers and manufacturing responsibly sourced products for the outdoor, home and hospitality markets. Downlite Outdoor’s current clients include Patagonia, The North Face, Marmot, Mammut, Kool, REI, Canada Goose, Lululemon, Ralph Lauren, Columbia Sportswear, Haglofs, Cascade Designs and Banana Republic.
Downlight operates four manufacturing sites in the United States and one in Canada, with sourcing teams based in China, Europe and the United States.
“Downlight designs and manufactures the highest quality products and this will enable us to launch a practical bedding collection under the Nautica brand name, strengthening the brand’s presence across the market,” Crawford said.
The company will be unveiling the new Nautica collection at the New York Home Fashions Market at 873 Broadway in September.
